Marine Life Evolved: Featured Artist Nancy Megan Corwin

Facèré Jewelry Art Gallery is pleased to present Marine Life Evolved, an exhibition of new work by Nancy Mēgan Corwin, inspired by the artist's extensive travels, collection and study of sea based life. With a close attention to detail and pattern, Corwin re-imagines the natural world through her jewelry.
Nancy Mēgan Corwin is a jeweler/metalsmith, curator and writer specializing in chasing and repoussé. She teaches and lectures internationally. Her book Chasing and Repoussé: Methods Ancient and Modern, published by Brynmorgen Press, is in its second printing and is available internationally. Nancy holds an MFA in metals from the University of Wisconsin. She has taught at Cabrillo and Monterey Peninsula Colleges in California, Penland, Pratt Fine Arts Center, and the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. Her work is included in private collections and in the permanent collection of the Tacoma Art Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
